I am a hematologist by training with a research focus on the molecular and cellular drivers of the tumor microenvironment, particularly in the setting of cancer-associated thrombosis and its role in promoting tumor progression. Ongoing studies are examining how thrombosis-induced alterations in neutrophil function shape the tumor microenvironment. Looking ahead, my research aims to define the mechanisms by which these immune-thrombotic pathways contribute to tumor growth and metastasis, with the long-term goal of identifying novel therapeutic strategies to target cancer-associated thrombosis.
