Jackson Lee Racing Sponsorship

Accelerating cancer research

The IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center is again a proud sponsor for race car driver and Indianapolis native Jackson Lee.

In 2026, Jackson will continue to represent the cancer center in multiple racing series anchored by Lamborghini Super Trofeo, which includes the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) Battle on the Bricks event at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Sept. 18-20.

In 2025, Jackson won three races in the Pro/Am class of IMSA Lamborghini Super Trofeo with Wayne Taylor racing, including a sweep of both races and second overall at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Jackson won two class poles and had two other podium finishes. His season also included a second-place finish at Daytona in the IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge for CSM in a Porsche Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport and multiple podiums in Automatic Racing in the prototype class of the World Racing League. The 2020 Team USA Scholarship winner has multiple formula car wins and has competed in the USF Championships in the INDYCAR development system and has also competed in IMSA's support series, Michelin Pilot Challenge.

As with the previous three sponsorships, this year’s sponsorship is tied to the cancer center’s public education campaign about early detection and prevention.

Jackson’s father, Kevin Lee, is a FOX Sports pit reporter for the NTT INDYCAR SERIES and the play-by-play voice for INDY NXT by Firestone on FS1 and a pit reporter and play-by-play announcer for IMSA coverage on NBC Sports. Kevin Lee and longtime radio co-host Curt Cavin will host the annual "Burger Bash delivered by ClusterTruck" to benefit cancer research at IU. The fundraiser features guest appearances by Indy 500 drivers and broadcasters and a live broadcast of "Trackside" on 107.5 The Fan.

The 2026 annual event is returning to Indy 500 race weekend. See the details below.

Racing is in Indiana’s DNA, which gives us the unique opportunity to point out to Hoosiers the many parallels between race teams and cancer research and care teams. Both involve precision, determination, and science.
